i have had my ICD Freestyle Pro for about a month or so now. I have rarely played with it, but i was going to this weekend. I always turn it on and dry fire, shoot without air, and practice my trigger pulluing. I drained my battery doing this. I took out the old battery and was about to put in my new one, when the black cable connected to my battery harness snapped out at the root inside the plastic covering!

Is there any way to fix this without sodering(sp) it? Is there anyone you recommend i send it to to fix?

I can't send it back to ICD becuase it would probably be called abuse or neglegence since i was changing the battery, and not haveing an "authorized ICD tech" fix it. It's just a battery! I also can't send it back to them because i sent in my board to have the predator code put on my board so there has been modifications or whatever.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

you can cut the old connector off and replace it with one from radio shack or any old 9v device you have lying around. Just peel strip the wire off from the ends and tie them together. Make sure you put electrical tape over the exposed wire or else you will short your battery!!!

I'm sure any TV/electronics repair place will solder it for you cheap. It'll take an experienced repair person only a minute to solder the wires and put shrink tube over it.

everything but the electrical tape to protect the wires.. electrical tape is a big NO NO on harness imo Wink

Instead of the electrical tape use heat shrink for radio shack. Its made for these situations and is very durable. But if it broke off at the board you will need to resloder a new wire in its plac. Its real easy to do. just dont get the board real hot. AND TAKE YOUR TIME!!
