Well i'm new here, so uh.. i'll introduce myself
-name is Branden
-been pb'ing for 8+ years
-stopped pb for a year, and gonna start back up now
-i had a custom built 2k2 cocker, then i sold it during the winter 2 years ago.
-been looking into a lot of guns and searching around a lot. Since obviously i guess i missed A LOT just with in a year of not being up to date with stuff.
-read and heard about this new "ION" gun that SP came out with, all the new A/C's, just calculating prices on how much it'll be to build my own A/C again, Mag. Then i remembered, hmm... i don't want to go fast non-electro again. Really want to go electric this time. So i remembered i looked into a Bushy lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time ago "back in the day". Looked up ICD, and saw they're still in production. So now i have it in mind. Thought it looked great from many of the sites i went to, never held it in person.
Just reading around what kinda mods can be done to this B2k4, and how good it is. So far i think it's a 80%+ clear that i'm gonna get one.
What do you guys like the most about this gun? that's what i want to really hear. Is it hard to strip apart the gun to clean after a nice day of pb? is it hard to tune? Like i read how a lot of the stuff is A/C threaded. You can put on a A/C lpr? A/C threaded vert. reg? am i correct here?
Last question, before i press submit. What's this deal with PDS and fast loaders? Do i NEED a PDS? or will i be ok with either or a fast loading hopper or PDS. Cause in order to "save a bit of money" since i'm kinda tight "At the time", i was thinking a Egg2 with the "upgraded board" forgot what it was called.
As far from i know, all i need to do is,
1) buy gun
2) macro kit with a drop
3)egg with board (fill me in on this, if i should get the new board or not)
4) lpr adapter with a lpr
=that right there is about a good $4....$450'ish. Might be a bit more, depending on what i get.
So uh.. get back to me, hopefully i can "learn" more about this gun, since you guys are like.."more pro than me" since i 'm new with this gun, but it when it comes down to a A/C i'm still pro.
Nice meeting all of you.
