I have a new Bushmaster. It hasnt worked at all since i bought it in April. I was
playing around with it tonite and i put plumber's tape on the adapters. it
does not leak from the part of the adapter that screws into the gun. It leaks from the part of the adapter where the hose connects. If anyone
knows what is wrong, how i can fix it, or where i can get it fixed in PA
please e-mail me at SteveOppy4 @ aol.com

I'm guessing that you are talking about the macroline fittings? If they are new there shouldn't be any problem with them. (They are new too, right?) Check your macro line for burrs or other 'stuff' at the ends that might be causing the leaks. The macro needs to be fully inserted into the fitting as well, so cutting the macro so it just barely makes it to the fitting is probably not the optimum length. Try a new piece of macro, with the ends deburred and see what happens. If all else fails, take it to your local shop and let them look at it. There are o-rings inside the fittings that could have been damaged.

It should just have a little curve to it...yours doesn't sound like it's too long. Smile The ends should be cut at 90 degrees (flat) with no burrs. I like to put a slight bevel on the outside after the cut, but I'm a bit anal about tearing things up.
To remove the macro you need to push the 'floating ring' on the end into the fitting, then pull the macro out. To insert you just push it back in.
