I recently installed a Vapor Valve into my B2K4 and have not been able to get it to stop leaking. I have searched this forum and the pbnation forums and tried a lot of different things to no avail. I even put new o-rings on it although the o-rings it had on it seemed fine. I think the only thing I did not try was adding a washer to the back of the LPR to space the spring out a bit (just in case the LPR is not putting enough pressure on the BM cupseal) as I was afraid this would degrade the LPR adjustment. I put my cup seal into a friend's Vapor Valve on his B2K4 and it worked fine, so I know it is not the cup seal itself. I was able to get the leak down to a VERY minimal leak. When I disconnect my air via my on/off ASA it takes almost four minutes to leak out the air in the marker if that gives you any idea of how slight the leak is. The leak does not occur when I put my stock Valve back in place. I have emailed Vaporworks and Paintballtrader both a couple times to ask if I can send it back to get a new valve, but they have not replied in the two weeks since I sent the emails. Has anyone else had a leaky Vapor Valve and if so how did you go about correcting the leak? Thank you very much and I sincerely apologize for my first post being so long!

make sure to lube the orings on the valve good. Then reset your lpr and try it again, changing out the valve will change your pressure.

I lubed the o-rings with Dow 55, increased the psi on the LPR until it leaked, then tried backing it out until it stopped. The LPR stopped leaking like normal at about 1 to 1-1/2 turns out, but the valve never stopped leaking even when I backed the LPR all the down to 60 psi (I am using a Mac Dev Ram Guage to verify the psi). Is it possible that my HPR could be set too high and causing it to leak perhaps? It is currently set at 250 psi.

I've noticed that if you tighten the screw that holds the valve in too much it pushes it up too high and causes a small air passage under the valve.. makeing it leak

Yep. I installed the Valve, rotated it correctly, put the retainer screw in after adding a drop of Blue Loctite to it, tightened it until it touched the valve, aired up the gun and proceeded to tighten in small increments and fire two shots between each adjustment to reset the pressure. Unfortunately it leaked from the time I aired it up and continued to do so even to the point of tightening it nearly as tight as I could get it. So I backed it out almost entirely using the same procedure to no avail. I was able to get the leak down to being very minimal, but not gone. This is the third Vapor Valve I have installed (others were on friend's guns) and it is the only one I have had any problems with.
