I was looking into my last mod for my promaster and I was considering the AKA SCM III, is it worth the money or not? The reviews are good but I am still undecided.
If JDS ever comes out with the LPR for the promaster, which has been "upcomming" since December 06, it will give it some competition.

Reviews are good but results from players are better, who has used it out ther and what are you thoughts on the product?

Honestly the very best LPR you can get is a MicroRock. I have heard good things about the SCM III though. No word from Dan Voils on wether they are still doing an LPR for the ProMaster/Bushmaster/BKO.

So good, I don't need feedback.

I curently have an SCM III om my PM fed by a 2 ltr + & my setup is +/-2 fps all day long. Maybe I am lucky, but either way micro-rock or SCM you are getting 1st quality products.

I use an SCM III on my PM and so far it works great. No numbers of consistency because it isn't broken in yet but the flow is much better (just telling from the size of the flow ports compared to the stock) and there are no sealing issues either (I had random leaks with my stock LPR due to the piston oring not sealing properly at times). Plus the SCM III will be a lot cheaper than the Microrock since with the microrock you need the adapter in addition to the lpr itself.

I love the palmers products, I also love and use to build the AKA stuff, as well as use to build the STD JDS stuff( curently I have the only JDS for a cyborg and love it)

If it was a contest between AKA and STD reg , I would wait forthe STD reg if I could. Both where designed by the same person, but hte JDS is a better product all around. It is what would ave been maybe the scm4 if the designer still worked with AKA, but when he left he went to work for STD and designed the next generatian and the customer suport is dremarkable when it comes to STD, after all Dan voils( AKA master tech and tech suport from the factory) is behind the STD company, as well as a few other choice people. You can't go wrong with what ever you chose, but my vote would be The std JDS I have seen the quality of both and its a step above.
