Well I got my bushy together and it was my only gun that decided to work toady when I went out to play. I will post pics later. It just got it back from Greg and it needs to be tuned. I got a gbr,2k7 chaos, shocktech bolt. My dwell was at 12 and my pressure at 250,which made my velocity 260 - 264. It went through a 68/3000 in in about 800 rounds . Good news is it looked good doing it. I was using paint from last fathers day and it gave me some barrel breaks when I went to the firing range and not one more after I turned my vlocity loader tension down Very Happy . I got home and thought oh noes how do I clean the gbr. Shocked I removed it and to my amazement, nothing just clean gbr no paint. I love it. My eye covers were had a little but thats easy. My gf and I switched off with it and even she tore it up. For the first time playing with a bushy I have to say that the grass is greener on the other side. Very Happy
I have a few questions if any one can answer them or many people

1. If I want my velocity to go higher what must I do to the dwell(higher or lower).

2. What is the best bolt?(to reduce kick)

3.What way do you tune lpr adjustments for the gbr? Is it the same as the stock?

4. Should I use eyes with the gbr? The best setting for eyes with gbr on the chaos board?

5. How do I clean the Gbr? What kind of Lube? (I have luker lube and white lithium grease, and pmi sythentic oil.

Thanks for looking

Keep your dwell where you are at. If you like the LPR pressure and the anti-chop of the GBR is working well, raise your HPR pressure instead to attain a higher velocity.

Stock bolt is great unless you get blowback. Bolts don't really reduce kick. Lowering your LPR pressure will reduce kick.

Identical to stock. The GBR is meant to work just as the stock ram. The piston stem reduces the amount of force the ram can receive until air can hit the large face of the piston.

Sure, the GBR is meant to compliment eyes on a PDS equipped marker. Best setting is whatever works, though you may want to try this:

Eye Delay - 5ms
Scope - ON

Ask Lurker27 if his lube swells O-rings. If it swells O-rings then I wouldn't use it. Otherwise it's probably your best bet.

Lithium grease is a definate no. Do not use synthetic oil.

The long and proper way:
De-gas marker.
Remove GBR from marker body.
Wipe down the exterior with clean rag.
Remove back cap.
Wipe down back cap with clean rag.
Use Q-tip to clean inside back cap.
Push piston out of housing.
Wipe down piston with clean rag.
Use Q-tip to clean interior of ram housing.
Lightly lubricate all O-rings (except bumper O-ring).
Lightly lubricate piston shaft.
Re-assemble.

The short way (at the field):
De-gas marker.
Remove bolt pin.
Unscrew backcap.
Tap marker onto palm of hand so the piston comes out into your palm.
Lubricate piston O-rings (except bumper) lightly lubricate ram shaft.
Re-insert piston.
Screw back cap on.
Put bolt pin back in.
Rock and roll.

I believe the eye delay is the same thing as they eye monitor. It just monitors the eyes and won't register a full ball drop until (x)ms.

BTW, I talked to Lurker27. His lube is just fine for your GBR.

No way, you can tell him yourself. I like to help out, but I don't coddle people and I don't interject myself into other people's business.
