Mr. Green

I like it in an ugly kind of way.
I agree. it's got that "I did it myself" look going for it.

Does it work? It seems like when it would cock back, the o-rings on the bolt would be exposed. After repeated use, wouldn't that chop up the o-rings?
This reminds me of something I did to my spyder a while ago. If you don't mind me posting a picture of my gun in your thread, I would gladly show it....I just have to figure out how to post pictures....

I'm not sure if these pictures wil work because I don't post pictures very often, but if they do, here is my spyder. The circular scratches all over the gun is my version of a "splash" finish...

It sure does. I made sure that when the gun was cocked back that the o-rings wouldn't be exposed so it wouldn't leak. The only problem is that when I start to shoot faster, the gun acts like it is out of air (You know when the gun makes that loud blaaaatttt noise) and doesn't recock. I think it is because when the hammer catches on the sear, the hammer deflects a bit, so if I shoot fast, the hammer just misses the sear. But it still shoots.

I was at a scenario game one time and I couldn't get my bushy to work so I had to break out the spyder...Everyone was like, "What is that?" Hehe.

yea thats the same w/ mine because the holse drilled in the bottom tube allow the gas that causes the recocking to escape before it recoks... thats why it skips the sear every once in a whil... when i get some air im gonna make a video w/ a pulse on it and pray it doesnt chop...

I'm thinking about buying a new body and chopping that one up as much as I can. But the thing is, I want it to work perfectly.
