Just wanted to say hi and drop a line. I just purchased an FS-8 from pbgear.com for $475! as part of their Thanksgiving day sale. I can't wait to get the marker since so many good things were said about it. I've been eyeing one since they came out but the $$$ was a little more than I wanted to spend. Awesome site you guys got and I did have one question, what kinda loader would work best with the FS-8? I was limited on time on ordering so it wasn't out of stock but I have to pickup a loader. Is the Halo-B still the mark? Or would an Eggy III do the job at 23bps? The EggyIII is like $80.
Thanks guys, and I can't wait to join the ICD users on the field.

Same to you too man. I'm looking forward to actually owning a decent gun instead of my old ION's, spyders and m98's. And an A5 in there. Thanks for the hospitality.

Speed wise you won't notice much difference between the Halo and the Eggy III. My gripe is that the Egg is still an agitator, so there is the possibility for chops.
Perosnally I would go with the Halo over all others. The Vlocity feels cheap and the lid is small, so it's sometimes hard to fill.
A teammate of mine has a Halo with Hybrid shells and a Cheetah board. Lot of money for a loader, but it holds right at 200 balls and outfeeds all other electric loaders, and will give the q a run for it's money.

I had an eggy II and didn't really care for the lid so I might just end up getting a Halo, anyways I can get a Halo to match my new baby. With my old egg I ended up removing the door springs cause I chopped a paintball cause the lid didn't 'lock' into place when loading. Ticked me off and contaminated my balls!
I'll have to take a look around, going price seems to be $130 for a Halo B.

Right now they've got regular halo bs for 98.50 on paintballgear.com, that doesnt seem to bad. And you could always get one used for 50 or 60$

rgr that. I ordered a drop for it and a new asa as well. Should look pretty sweet when done. I'm a big fan of drops since I tend to use larger tanks (90ci). Can't wait to get the gun and set it up. I've been trying to read up on it before I have at it. I heard some complaints about the regs on the fs7's but some say the one on the fs8 is better?

I haven't had a lot of problems with ICD regs, but the newest I have is on a B2k4. Just keep it clean and lubed.
That being said, I don't use mine much anymore since I am addicted to Palmer's regs. Fatty Stab > all (barring maybe the Sidewinder)

Palmer's are nice, I used to run a male stab on my m98 back in the day at around 400psi. Worked great for winter games and got the balls where they needed to be. That was when I was using CO2 so it helped out a bunch.
