So the other day i took my brand new promaster to the field for a full day of paintball only to find out that it is totaly screwd up. i spent 5 hours trying to trouble shoot it with 5 other guys and a tech at the local store and we got it to work for about 5 min. later on with the help of this forum i was able to fix the problem(had to rebuild the lpr and hpr) so now iv determend i need a backup marker.

what would you guys recomend as a back up marker. as much as some of you guys would hate to here this im looking at an ion simply because i can get a body for it that i can mout sight to ( for woods ball)

if you looking for a woodsball gun or backup gun just pick up a tippman A-5
If your having all these problems keeping your PM up and shooting the ION is just as bad if not worse to keep up and to fix.

second on the a5 for a woodsball backup. Ion will yield more trouble than it is worth, IMO.

but if you are looking for an electro, pick up an older bushy with aftermarket regs. I think most of the older body styles up to the X-mills had a dovetail that you can throw an occluded sight on if you really want a sight.

i had an a5 and i sold it for my promaster imo, so i dont want another one. there great guns and will work all the time, but i want something that can rip 15bps no problem in semi and well even after moding the **** out of my a5 trigger i still couldnt get past like 7... so a5s are out.

and since im having all this trouble with my BRAND NEW promaster i dont want another icd gun, theyv turned me off for ever. there was sand in my hpr and theres no sand any where near where i live and the field i played at is indoor and has turf. so no bush masters ether.

well im sure it wasnt a brand new promaster if it had sand in it. Also most people always suggest you lube ur lpr and hpr when you first get any gun. If this was done you could have noticed the sand.

Good luck with an Ion you will fit right in

Why don't you just stick with icd, they work well when taken care of. You just need to learn their quirks.
