ok as you know im a tournament player thats soon going to have a fully upped promaster. i just have one question. i use tournament grade paintballs and i usually always went with .689 bore. It has done me good but for some reason. Some thing is telling me to go with the .685. Any suggestions ?

Paint seems to be getting smaller, especially tournament level paint. You should be fine with a .685

Honestly, dont be shy with a .679 is you can find one. Im not even kidding man, paint has gotten that small, and actually smaller. Many people are getting special made Freak inserts down to .670 because paint has gotten that small.

heat would make them swell and get larger. It's more or less just the Paint Manufacturers making them smaller..

i shoot everything through my six-eight-three. i stopped bothering sizing paint. everything is so damn small now anyway. and if it is not that small, underboring it does not hurt.

i could probably size smaller with my freak kit, but i like my sly barrel kit better.
