I'm not really sure how you define dubstep. It seems like there's a lot out there that can and has been stepped on. It just really puts me off when they use that wobble sound as the only melodical fluxuation in the song. It think the wobble should underly a good melody or riff, then it can be tasteful. But I think the wobble used in the song you linked above just takes it too far.

Here's something I found that isn't necessarily something I'd listen to, but still has a tasteful use of wobble.

Yeah, that's a prime example of really good dubstep. If you don't like that, you don't like dubstep.

The whole problem with it is the anonymimity of the posters. If you are pretty much anonymous then you don't have too much restricting what you can say. You can say whatever you want and what's going to happen? Nothing except a little flaming. If everyone was required to use their real name as their screen name, I'm guessing there wouldn't be as many idiotic posts.
