Ran a FS-7, Promaster, and a Bushmaster today. Happy to report that everything worked well. Seemed to have some bolt stick issue with the FS-7 that recurred about 6 times over 3 hours, but it was solved by degassing and turning the gas back on. Velocity and rate of fire seemed fine. Promaster worked without a hitch and the Bushmaster was fine until the Halo decided it was a blender instead of a loader.

Anyone else go to the field this weekend?

Glad to hear some ICD guns got out onto the field today. I haven't been out at all this year. Can't seem to dedicate and time or funds to it.

If you don't mind me asking, which field did you hit up?
I went to PSP and DBS on separate occasions back in '12. I had a good time at both places. The PSP crowd was almost all beginners (I remember there was this group of women - a group of coworkers, nurses and the like - they were really fun to play with) and I elected to use one of my Pumas most of the day so I wouldn't over shoot anyone. It worked great. Brought my FS8 out for the last game and got some "Oooos and Ahhhs" from the rental using newbs.
When I checked out the DBS Snohomish field, I brought a friend along. He used my Promaster and I used my FS04. Both worked good. The Promaster, I think a few times, just stopped firing for my friend. I think it was an electrical or board issue. I had him turn off the gun and turn it back on and I think, and that solved it. Wasn't a huge issue.
With my FS04, I had taken out a few of those parts in the rear bolt section to drop my operating pressure. The FS04 worked great, but if I would start to increase my fire to 10 bps, I'd get velocity drop off. I still, to this day, haven't figured it out, but I have a feeling it's my HPR.

Last time I played was last year at the Supergame. I had a bunch of issues with some markers before we even got on the field, but fortunately I brought 8 guns for two guys and I eventually was able to dig up a couple of markers that worked (FS8 and a Puma)

I was at the DBS indoor. Wanted to make it as simple as possible without possible rain. I thought there were a bunch of fields in Oregon?

I have my 1 ICD case that has my go to guns, that i always bring to the field. But lately i shot my DM4 one day(it shot sooo nice, just like i remember-after it was teched, not by me-i suck at teching spoolies), or its been my Axe, or my mags. Its hard to rotate guns in for me. The problems of having a collection that i have lost track of exactly how many guns i truly have. I really need to go through them and try to make sure they are all in working order, like my Lasoya that i have half apart, or finish my Twister, or finish the harness of my Venom, or just finish these guns: green Fishbone, red fishbone, black b2k3, ST, Bonebrake, 2 PMs, and a few others. Hell, i need a family photo with all the current guns.

I love my Dye guns as well. I recently picked up an NT10 and an NT11 just to take it apart and put it back together... ironically the NT10 shot like a champ over two days and the NT11 developed a leak in a couple hours from one of the plunger o-rings. They say the NT10 is less reliable due to the rear spool bumper, but it hasn't been the achilles heel for me. Aside from the snappier sound signature over a DM, I really like the NT, really makes me wonder why there weren't enough buyers for them to keep making them. I guess being $200 more with no real perceived gain over a DM doesn't get well received by the market.

My go to ICD guns are old blind B2Ks with eggs. But I had to mix it up with the guns and loaders this weekend because I was fielding 6 total guns and I wanted to slow down some of the faster guns with eyes using gravity or older powered hoppers. The other three were the two NTs, and an SP Nerve. Yes I know, evil Smart Parts. I've only recently be interested in them and I've come to realize that despite their business practices, who ever designed their stuff is pretty damn clever.

Oh, I needed to be up in the Seattle area for "buisness" for the weekend so I said, "To heck with it" and brought a bunch of equipment.
I'm all about playing paintball in more populous areas. Fields near larger cities tends to have more walk ons and larger teams and ends up being more fun.

I've had some bad experiences with going solo to fields in Oregon on random weekend days. On more than one occasion I was one of only a few walk ons and played w teams with three players and sometimes less. One day I believe I was the ONLY walk on and was nice enough to have my field fee refunded. So yeah, I figured back in '12 I'd have a chance to actually play against a team of *gasp* 10!

BUT that's not to say that there aren't good fields in Oregon. It's just I haven't figured out a good way to judge if I'm actually going to play against people on a given weekend day. I've ended up checking the state forums on PBN and I've found that Royal Ridges gets good turnout and people usually let you know beforehand if they're going. I'd recommend Royal Ridges if you ever find yourself down south with your paintball gear for whatever reason.
