They have the '99 ones for 77 right now. I think that is the basic kit. I'll have to double check that when I get off work.

On the subject of the polishing, should I start with a high grit emery cloth or should I take them right to the buffing wheel?

I have been looking into this and so far the cheapest I have found are these:

cgi.ebay.com/GAT-PUMP-...ltDomain_0

Don't know much about them but the price seems right.

depends on how rough it is, on bad machining with visible lines i start with 220-400 for fine lines 400-600 for anything without visible lines but not feeling slippery i start with 1000 and end up with 2000 then polish/buff

the hammer and the hammer lug are the two pieces that are on either side of the spring? and can i polish the bolt for kicks?

edits: yeah, the pump kit goes for 77 new. what do you think would be fair for a used kit?

the hammer is what strikes the valve
the lug is in the hammer and is the part that the sear contacts, yours is probably a threaded set screw

dont polish the bolt, it helps with alignment and fit

if you want i can polish that stuff....i got TZAs here right now, and im polishing a bunch of other stuff atm

for a CCM a nice condition used kit is 60-40
messed up is like 35 or less

CCM Economy kits would be around 50-30 depending on use
mine is polished, but there is slight binding when you cock all the way back, also mine is the only pre 2k Economy kit

What would you want for compensation for the polishing work?
