ok i was shooting my BKO today and shot about 500 balls and it worked good except for when i tried to "fan" the trigger. it'd work for 2 or 3 balls and then a massive chop. is there anything i can do so i can fan the trigger without choppung? im going to try changing the velocity because it seemed a bit high but that may not be the problem.

well blow back is when your bolt is loose inside your top tube and air goes up your feedneck and blows the balls up a lil causing it to feed halfway and then chop chop!

Place a couple of balls in the feed neck and shoot if they fly in the air then you have blow back, you can get a vapor bolt or make your own bolt by putting an oring on it....

With a gravity fed hopper, you can't shoot faster than 8-9bps. If you "fan" the trigger, you'll easily hit 12-15bps and you will chop.

Evolution II will help. SP Ram mod will definitely help; you can get that at shootpaint.com

Cheers

Yeah, if you don't want to spend the extra $$$ to get a Halo B, then an Evo II will definitely help. I have a new 2K3 BKO (stock) that I've played with on three outings now. I "fan" all day long...I've probably gone through a little over two cases of paint so far and I have yet to experience any chops with the Evo II. If you get an "egg", just make sure to use fresh batteries and turn the speed dial on the Evo II all the way up. You also need to make sure that you have a good ball to barrel match. If you're shooting paint that is a little too big for your barrel, then not even a Halo will prevent the inevitable break in the breach from shooting oversized paint.
