hey, the first time i used my BKO, it kept chopping, like every other time. i dunno if it's blowback (if it is, i don't know how to tell if it is or not.), or what....i chop almost every other time, and it sucks to have to clean every single time. i dunno if it's my hoppper and it's not keeping up w/ it (i have a 12vt revvy)...someone please help me! I dunno what to do! i am so frustrated w/ it, and i've heard that BKOs are awesome guns, and i just wanna be able to take out my gun, and shoot it, and everything be alright. maybe the regs just need to be settled in, i dunno...please help! I am desperate!

Shoot slowly..if its still chopping..then I don't know. If not, then either youre outshooting your revvy, or you have blowback. Readjust your regs, re-lube thing, and give your gun a good clean-down.

Well, you might wanna think about upgrading to a faster hopper if you have the money. If not, take down the entire gun and clean and re-lube everything. Make sure that the regs are really clean and clear of any debris. And if you have to end up sticking with your revy, just try and watch your rate of fire. You'll be able to outrun it easy if you start shooting too fast.

Take the barrel off and hold the gun up to the light while looking into the front of the gun and see if you can see light around the bolt if you can,, order a vapor bolt. Thats more than likely your problem.

I had the same problem when I first got mine. I just re-adjusted the reg and set the Velocity and everything worked fine. ICD made the BKO so that it will not work properly if it is shooting over 300.

Good luck!

if i knew how to take apart my gun and lube it, i would....the manual sux for the gun...it has no schematics. if someone wants to email me some detailed instructions on how to take it apart, lube it, and put it back together, i would appreciate it. i took it once to help me get it fixed...when he (the guy at the store) aired it up, the reg read 400 psi!!! he adjusted it by the screw on the bottom of the lpr and said it was good to go. i went to play last weekend, and it kept chopping!! i lost half the air once when it chopped and the bolt got jammed forward. it dry-fires just fine...it cycles perfectly and everything. i dunno what to do....

First read the entire BKO FAQ over at pbnation.com:

pbnation.com/showthrea...did=215475

Also, the BKO regs teardown:

pbnation.com/showthrea...did=312602

Plus, I would also read alot of the various links under the FAQ/Important/Official Threads:

pbnation.com/forumdisp...orumid=259

The above links contain all the information you need to tear down your gun, clean it, lube it, and get it back together. Do it in an area free of clutter and other random objects...if a small piece were to fall out while taking it apart, you don't want to lose it. Make sure to not only do the HPR and LPR, but the ram too. Also, get some Dow 33 lube. Avoid Lithium grease, as it can get really viscous quick if too much is used in the wrong places. Just my opinion.

Then, tune your regs like outlined here:
icd-owners.com/icd/mod...opic&t=149

Still chopping? Check for blowback:
icd-owners.com/icd/mod...opic&t=481

If you have blowback, get a vapor bolt...or some bolt that has o-rings. Now, I'm tired of posting links...use the Search function on this site and/or over at pbnation to find links for blowback and bolts with o-rings.

Lastly, if you still don't have success, and you're outrunning you're Revy, you might want to make sure you are not double-feeding. Check/clean your ball detent...you might need to replace it and/or reinforce it. And also maybe consider an Egg or Halo to up the BPS that are fed to the gun. (Again search for links about the ball detent reinforcement if you need more info).

Happy lubing!
