Have a friend that wants to start playing again. He called me up last night and his daughter is really starting to like the sport.
He gave her his old marker but she wants an electro or two = Dad wants one too!
I dont know much about AGD to tell him what to ask. It has a perfect black dye body with a screw on feed neck and a/c barrel threads, a level ten bolt and is the valve the thing with the big X on it? The sucky thing is the single trigger!
Super nice mechanical marker but I told him to snoop around MCB to try and find out what its worth. I havent a clue!
She doesnt like b2ks much or I could just let her use some of mine. Whats a good non plastic marker? She isnt very big so the smaller the better.

prolly like 300 on the mag, with the x valve. If your looking for a cheap, small electro, try finding a defiant 2 or maybe even a gen 2 freestyle.

She needs something you dont have to tear down often, but will look at the defiant. Hows a mini - her dad likes those?

if they are ok with used markers, pick up a used ion with a bob body. less than three hundred bucks and they are easy to work on. if you can find one with a lucky body, they are a/c threaded too.

I think we will be skipping Smart Farts Twisted Evil
Maybe I will just let her try the Bushmaster again its a bit heavy for her, but they are cheap and all metal!

aw hey now, i like my ion. it was a great marker to break into electronic markers with. i learned to work on real paintball guns with my ion. ill probably get flamed for that, but it is the truth.

if you drop the smart parts marker, no problem. good place to start. i almost died when i took a spill a few months ago when i was laneing with my fs8. first : check fs8. is it ok? second: check self for head injuries. you get the point.

Its not just the crappy quality its the companies sue happy tactics. You were probably not around when all that was happening, but some ICD people still remember the Devil@Smart Farts!

i was not around for it, but i have read about it. agd and aka do not make markers currently because of smart part's pattens. this all may change though...

i know the crappy quality. i polished of some of the powder coating of ion trigger frame and found that most of the holes are not drilled in the center of frame. the first time i took apart the marker, i thought i was breaking it when i took the board out. nothing in the directions about sliding the board out of the trigger frame. and honestly, who the hell thought it was a good idea to hold in the trigger with a pin that you need a hammer to remove? i changed that piece out for a screw.

impulse and shocker threaded barrels?

two different feedneck threads?
