Who is using the crazy small bores? I see talk of 678! Personally 687 still works well for me, but I have been using up my old paint= too cheap to waste it:). There isn't a lot of small bore ICD thread barrels made. I called a barrel place- they searched their entire warehouse for a ICD 12" 684 and nothing (not making any more either). If paints getting smaller I want to buy a few new sizes once and be done with it. Or maybe I will just get the tip on the powerlyte set reanoed as it goes to 684.

Yeah, I'm using a consistent .681 on my freak. It used to be right around .686

This year so far I've used some Core Prime at a field and have been shooting RPS Prem around the house.
For both I've underbored at .683 on my edge kit. Seemed to work good for both paint types.
Yes, I get a little un-nerved though thinking about how small paint is getting. I bought that kit last year and I yet have to use any back other than the .683. And .683 is the smallest one!

Yes the stock quest barrel at 696 its just about garbage now. I liked stock ICD but I think they are in the 693 area too.

Longbow will make stainless backs in in ICD thread in 684 and 681 but they are $70 each just for the backs. If I could just buy one or two I might still do it. As my longbows aren't selling anyway but I dont want to go buy more if paint size drops again. Maybe they are just slowly dropping to 50 cal paint Razz

speaking of which, we don't really have a .5- cal thread around here, but whats gonna happen to ICD if 50 get implemented? I'm assuming someone may make a conversion kit (hopefully?)
