Hell hath no fury like a pregnant woman's scron for paintball...

Just thought you all needed to know that.

Yeah one time I brought home a small pizza from work(one of my jobs was a pizza delivery guy for a few years). It had proccuitto on it. She wasn't down with proccuitto. I proceeded to eat said pizza with the pregnant woman in the room. She seriously got mad. Like mad as in "YOU COME HOME AND EAT A PIZZA IN FRONT OF ME!?"

There is nothing you can do. Whatever you do, there will always be repercussions. Honestly, they don't even know what they do. Hormones take over.

Seriously, I could have gone in the closet and eaten the pizza and she would have been like "YOU COME HOME AND EAT A PIZZA IN THE CLOSET!?"

Hell, even if I had stayed at work and eaten the pizza she probably would have been like "WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU COME HOME EARLIER!?"

I feel for ya buddy.
But still, even these days I get crap for messing around with my paintball guns. It will never end. Just make sure you know what she likes and make a conscious decision to go out of your way(and make sure she knows you're going out of your way) to get her what she wants. All will be well in the end.

Edit: Just to clarify. Her pizza of choice most nights is canadian bacon + pineapple. I thought I was doing a favor by mixing it up and getting a more 'sophisticated' pork product. Apparently not.

just pray you don't have to deal with her having gallstones during pregnancy. A crazy screaming woman in intense pain ain't no fun.

the first trimester was no fun. say goodbye to sex. the second has been better. she has been alot more reasonable lately. i have to talk her in to doing the things that she has to do. ie. pay bills, go to school etc... i hear the third is hell.

my future brother in law(her older brother) has had it worse. he knocked up his girlfriend of two months. she has basically been hell on him. he cant do anything right. i have been trying to tell him about how it works, but he just pulls this "she is a *****" thing that is not gonna work. they are about 8 weeks behind us. he has started to figure it out though. he is learning how to keep his distance and he has also learned that he cannot do anything right.

as far as the pregnant woman in pain thing, yeah, did that, not nearly as bad as stones though. i brought her some super stuffed mashed potatoes from chili's one night. i dont know if it was the potatoes or chili's or what, but she was rolling on the bed all through the night and all the next day. i was damn near about to take her to the er. i hope to hell that i dont have to do anything close to stones though. in any form. i bet that was hell.

i just want to get the hell out of her parent's house though. her mom is pushing her buttons like every day. ill tell you what: pregnant woman and a menopausal woman in the same house is not a whole lot of fun. my mom has turned out to be a lot more help that i thought she would. not that i dont get along with my mother, but mother unit and the old lady dont always see eye to eye. it has been differently lately though. i hope it lasts.

thanks for the support gentlemen.

I have been through 3 pregnancies. The first two were with my Ex...there's a reason she's my Ex. I believe it is possible she could have been the Antichrist.

My wife handled preganancy much better than I expected. She was relatively pleasant. worst part about her pregnancy was how often she had to pee, woman could not make it around the block and I had to pull over to pee.

Evert woman is different in dealing with the whole prgenancy thing. Seems like the younger they are the worse they can be with the whole fangs and claws thing.

Bottom line: If she doesn't fell like she's the MOST important thing, she's going to be very unhappy to say the least. If she feels like you like the paintball guns more than her, she's going to complain about your paintball obsession. Find out what she wants, give it to her with flying colors and ask her whats next and when she's out of requests, play with your guns. If she never runs out, well, your up poo poo river with no way to mativate your raft.

it took me a little bit to figure out this one, but i got it down to a science. the science: drop what ever you are doing when the requests come up. video games, paintball guns, taking a dump, taking a nap, making dinner, performing cpr on a man who has stopped breathing, you have to be able to drop it at a moments notice.

the one i can seem to figure out is getting her to stop talking to her mom every damn day. invariably, her mom tells her she is doing it wrong, being a wuss, needs to come up with a plan, needs to not come up with a play. her mom is under the delusion that catie will return to school full time in september after the baby is born in august. this is another one that fall under the "youre doing it wrong" category. it seems like every time i leave for work, i tell her, "stay away from your mom," and everyday, she calls me a) crying, b) really angry, c) really angry and crying. at least my boss has been there and done that and is very forgiving about the whole thing.

we find out the gender next week though. Very Happy

haha. i have a fiendish plan to earn points at a later date. i hid some girl scout cookies in the freezer and i will break them out when she needs them. frozen thin mints are supposed to be awesome. i would not know. they never last long enough around me to freeze them.

Man I remember when Courtney was pregnant. I actually said to her, I guess my paintball days are over.....she said no way "I want you to keep playing". Funny thing is she was great through hers until the doc unplugged her epidural and she about rips some heads off.

Good luck there Maloneoni. Maybe sell a gun and buy her something nice.
