Yup, got it today on my lunch break. Savage Model 10 in .308. The deer are going to hit the ground bruthas!
Going to shoot it Saturday w/ my bud on his land. Kori (my daughter) evidently was singing a song when she saw it..."Daddy's gunna be a hunta!!!". I was at work so I missed the song.
Well here is the hot thang!

my little brother just bought a colt peacemaker or something. It's single-action, and really cool! I wish i had more real guns.

Right now I am carrying around an M16A2. Not exactly a hunting rifle but does that count?

Shot the savage a week or so ago. It shot like a champ. Nice groupings at 125yds. I'm stoked. I'm going to help my buddy make a skinnin' rack this weekend.
Off topic slightly, I'm having a section of my land tilled for a food plot and i'm setting up a feed plot for white tail in the yard....shooting the bow here. Can't wait to get the 'ol bow back from the Archery Shop tomorrow.

I've got a bulk seed mixture. There's winter peas, corn, beans, and other such things.
It should work pretty well, we have nice warm temps and stuff will grow and the little unsuspecting deers will love it
