Just noticed this, the bolt sticks out farther than it should and blocks the ball from feeding, will this correct it self when aired up?

Well the bolts on the ICD stuff are not adjustable so it should clear the breach. Remember, there is no air forcing the ram/bolt into the open position it is the ram spring. So no, airing up the gun will have no affect on the bolt's open position.

Check to make sure that the bolt pin is actually in the hammer slot and not infront of the hammer.

It is possible (not likely) that the hammer has come unscrewed from the ram shaft. Pretty easy to check this (just take the ram out of the gun).

Finally make sure someone didn't put in some piece of something under the ram cap to keep the bolt from going all the way back. Just remove the ram cap. I actually had to do just this, I installed a small piece of macro to make the bolt sit a bit farther forward as the eyes I milled in the breach were a tad low....but that is really a discussion for another time.

So, just try the above things and see what happens.

when not aired up the bolt sits all the way open not blocking the breach, when you look down the feedneck the bolt should clear the breach, if not then your pin is probably not seating into the ram and is in front of it.

Fivestring, I think he's got the old square end ram, so he can't pull the cap. Check your pin placement and see if the hammer is unscrewed, as suggested.

Uh, how long does the wire need to be striped for the solder to bond the two wires back together? i have 1/4 an inch both sides.

It has to be 3/4 of the O.D of the wire to the 10th power, then subtract the total length of the wire. After you do that, take the I.D of the wire and multiply that by the bonding strength of the tin. Then you will have the length needed... comprende?
