Cleaning Reg's

Hey i just got a new 2004 BKO a few weeks ago and i want to clean my HPR and LPR... just wondering the best way to do this? the more details the better... such as how to take them apart properly and whether or not i should use oil on them...

First: No oil.
Clear Lithium Grease - Get a strap wrench if you don't already own one.

I use denatured Alcohol to clean mine, There is a good internal breakdown on the ICD website.
Only lubricate the piston side of both regulators, the seal/brass cap side are ment to stay lube free.
Oh and unless you are using dirty air your regulator's shouldn't need broken down and cleaned till 8-10k cycles. That is my opinion however.

how would u know if u have dirty air? just curious

you shouldnt need to worry about dirty air ifyour field uses a nice nitro compressor because it should have all the filters and everything. but if you see that ur regs are dirty on the inside that could be a cause.
