Tried this year's 09 Jubelale last night actually. Not as thick as last years so you dont feel like a wounded grizzly bear when you drink more than three.

FYI, Lienie's Fireside Nut Brown is out again. It's their Nov-Dec seasonal brew. It's quite yummy. Only around for 2 months!

Tried Wing Walker amber ale last night - Worst beer I've ever had, it made the Busch light seem phenominal
Anyone tried Sierra Nevad's seasonal ale?

If you are going to make that claim, I propose that you send all members posting in this thread a sample to verify your findings.

I had a 'smoke' beer this weekend. I'd post the name, but the label was entirely in German. The smoke flavor reminded me of raking leaves as a kid and burning them in our fire pit.... it went very well with smoked gouda cheese and crackers.

Yeah Biggie, that Jubel can lay one out if one is not careful.
Man, who came up with the name 'Wing Walker'? That's gotta be the worst name for a beer; almost sounds like a chardonnay or something. Arrogant Bastard! Now there's a good name for a beer.
And unfortunately with my monetary waist ever shrinking, I haven't gotten a single winter/holiday brew in me yet.
Hopefully that will change with the onset of holiday parties. (watch out hosters! I'm putting pabst in your fridge and taking the good stuff out!)
That black and blue sounds like a good combo, gotta try it one day.

Yup it is, Blue Moon on the bottom and Guiness on top.
The other one that is terrific is Guiness and Yuengling. The Yuengling is on the bottom and the Guiness is on the top. Its actually really strange how it drinks. Guiness never gets very cold and really shouldn't be served like any ice cold Coors. However, that Yuengling (once you get to it) is like a burst of the Antarctic in your mouth. Really a neat experience to drink. Find a nice Irish pub and they can make you up one.
