Ripper frame
Slightly different rules here. You can get appraisals by having them posted here... Be nice, and don't get impatient - remember, by asking for an appraisal, you're asking someone else to spend their time figuring out what your gear's worth - and you're not paying them for it.

I just got an older bushy with an eaton ripper frame. I know they are pretty rare, but finding any value on them has not been easy. Any thoughts?

There is nothing to go off of except what someone is willing to pay because you don't see them very often. I'd give $50.00 for it if you decide to sell it if its in good shape and you could supply a pic.

I was going to say $50. I think that's in the ballpark of what the_Hulk paid for his. I have to say, I like the feel of them.

I now have 2 ripper frames. One I got from Ssechiest and the other came on the 2K4 I bought from The_Hulk here.

I only bought them because I liked the looks and they were different from the other frames others are using, just wanted something unique.

I was pleasantly suprised at the comfort. no other frame I have held feels as good in my hands. the fit and finish is excellent and the flow of the trigger into the rest of the frame is near perfect. Of course these are just my personal opinions.

my gripe about the ripper: the little bump/bulge in the lower front bend of the trigger guard takes up room your fingers could have for walking the trigger. when walking the trigger with my right hand my index finger has gobs of room while my middle finger taps the guard. a minor gripe for me, but peole with bigger hands may feel it is a bigger problem.
