Well evidently I did last night. I went to bed before 10 and my wife came to bed after 10:30. Well evidently, I started to talk to her about papier mache and the Aristocats. Then I told her I could put in slate floors in the kitchen in a day and then I got mad about not driving a concrete truck.

Finally I barely woke up and remember saying about 10:30 in the "afternoon".

It was evidently the funniest thing my wife has heard. For me it was frustrating when I woke up at the end of it. You know when you dream and you can't say certain things or run fast enough...thats how it felt to wake up in that. It was odd to say the least. I guess thats why they say not to eat that little worm in the bottom of the tequila bottle (just kidding Laughing ).

Any who, so you guys ever experience this at all??

At least once a week. My wife has pogressed WAY past the "this is funny" stage. I replay high stress situations at work and on the field, so she adds inflammatory comments to stir me up. Stuff like: "you know you wiped, and everyone here saw it" or "I don't care if you are the boss, I'm not shoveling that." She says it's cheap entertainment on the nights she can't sleep.

this made me laugh. i "work" in my sleep too. usually i talk about hanging sheetrock or running romex. last week, i kept dreaming i was still working on my term paper. god only knows what i was talking about.

i have sleep apnea, so yeah, i do crazy stuff all the time. i get scary sometimes with the fight or flight response stuff. i scare her sometimes and sometimes make her laugh. the other night, i tried to run out of the bed. i woke up when i started dragging the cpap machine with me.

Yes I do all the time. My wife can even carry on conversations with me about what ever I am talking about.

Good to know I'm not alone. I know I've been vocal in my sleep in the past, but I don't know how often I do it. My girlfriend hasn't mentioned anything lately about me talking in my sleep lately, but she does remind me of one time I sat up in bed and yelled "PBR!" and laid back down to sleep. Consequently, I had been drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon earlier that night and probably had an over-abundance of it.

I catch myself talking to my son about work while I fall asleep as I attempt to read him his bedtime books though. My girlfriend works some evenings and I'm often up at 2:30 in the morning to get ready for work during lately(work starts at 4am). My son is on a later schedule so we often are reading books around 8pm. A lot of time I'll be reading him a book and nodding off at the same time and I'll just start going on and on about work as I fall asleep. My son will just start turning the pages at that point to wake me up. I'm sure the last thing he wants to hear is me going on about work.
