I'm interested in standardizing all my ICD boards, so I have been talking to Rob over at Kila. He is offering me a pretty good deal if I can buy at least 20 boards. Now, I have several markers, but that's a little out of my league, so I thought I would open it up here. If I have enough interest, I'll post in the BST. Currently, this is just to guage interest. If this goes through, I will not take any profit on the deal. Anything that is paid above my actual costs will roll straight over to ICDO.

So, speak up, I know I can use 4, and have a local guy wanting 3-4 more...

Oh, and for our northern brethren, I'll ship up there as well.

What are we talking about here? These are ProMaster boards and at what unit price?

Yeah, these are the PM/FS boards. I am waiting on a response from Rob to see if they will read trigger input from the harness, which would make them Bushmaster/bko compatible.

I haven't used one either, but they seem to get decent reviews, have a good warranty, and they have actual contact info on the website.

Unit price is $35. That does not include shipping from me to you. I don't know what the current flat rate box is going for, but somewhere in the neighborhood of $42 total. Not a bad price for a $60 board.

I am flush with my boards for the moment, but I thought I'd add since I have both the Nox and Kila boards.
As far as I can say my Kila is just as good as my Nox. I'm not the type of person that can really tell the difference of one board at one setting compared to another board at the same setting. The board makes my markers work well, and that's the most important thing for me. The Kila is PSP rules compatible right now and apparently they offer free software upgrades for life. There are a few downsides to the Kila in comparison to the Nox, but they are small and don't really affect me. First is that there is no fine ROF setting. You can only set your rate of fire to whole balls per second, not half balls per second. This is a very moot point for me, but might be an issue with a tournament player. As CHRISMX22 mentioned, there is no bolt-stick or FSDO setting. The main issue I have with it is that you need to remove a grip panel and physically manipulate dipswitches in order to change settings other than turning off the eyes (turning off the eyes is like most boards, hold the trigger in, turn on marker, and hold for a few seconds) As long as you don't go the the field and need to change your firing modes every other game this shouldn't be an issue. Me, I've pretty much memorized my Nox programming code, so going back in and adjusting a Kila board is a bit of a hassle. However, how many times have I had to change my settings? Twice in two years maybe. Not an issue.

I recently put an order into Nox for an injector chip for my Vlocity. I waited a month, nothing showed so I sent some emails. No response. since I paid with Paypal, I opened a dispute. After a few weeks they finally got back to me and sent my chip about 2 months after I ordered it. I don't really have anything against Nox (I lived in Corvallis, OR for a few years so I am biased. I did want to support a business in a town that's been good to me) But for those who hope to have their Nox boards re-flashed, you might want to think twice. I don't know if they do re-flashes anymore and I would be hesitant to send my board to a place that doesn't answer emails. I guess Kila is now the last bastion of current firing modes for our ICD markers. Probably should pick one up while you can. $35 plus shipping is a great deal, I think I picked my Kila up for $56 plus shipping.
Alright, enough with this fan-boy-product placement ridiculousness. You are free to go about your business.

Got an email from Rob yesterday, the kila is plug and play in the Bushmaster and bko.

I'm in. Just let me know when. Also I am leaving July 7th to Wisconsin for a month long training exercise. If it is during that time I would be able to pay you but it may take a couple of days.
