Well I found a great truck last night. 1980 Ford Bronco 4x4 full size w/ the removable top.

It's got Super Swampers and a brand new Holley 4 barrel carb. The carb needs to be tuned to get it to idle correctly but it runs and this thing is a beast! I rode it in and it just tore through the guys yard. Loud as hell too. I"m pretty sure I will need to install mufflers as I will wake up the dead w/ this thing.

We agreed on a price $600 Shocked His brother is going to tune the carb tonight or tomorro and then I'll go pay and drive it home.

Man I'm stoked. I'll get the pictures once I have it in my possession. My wife is stoked. Now if I can convince her to wear a tube top and pose in the back for some pics!! Twisted Evil

Yup in general. A little run on the front passenger side fender but not bad.

Got my new Bronco last night. I swapped out the holley carb for the stock carb because the holley had the wrong base and I just didn't want it. In place of the carb I got 4 33" Thornbird tires and good wheels.

We trailered it to my house and parked it next to the garage. The wife said "well thats better than I expected". The kid said (in a very attitudy voice) "I am not riding in there it is o dirty!!"

It was dark so I didn't take good pictures. You can see the ones I took at my face book page though Nick Rebovich. If you wanna be my friend thats cool too!

later
Nick

So I got the Bronc started last night. Its idling ruff mainly because the intake manifold is missing the rear two carb mounting posts. I'll likely have to replace the manifold unless I choose to drill and tap the holes where the posts sheared off.

Regardless, the engine ran and I drove it around they yard (yep my yard is big enough to drive the truck how funny is that :D).

I know I will need to replace the valve cover gaskets cause some oil was getting on the exhaust manifolds. No coolant was moving so I'm pretty sure I'll need to replace the thermostat.

This is a fun project so far. I will take some real pictures this sunday and post 'em. So far only fungunz wants to be my friend on facebook.
