www.shoeboxcompressor.com/

For those who have not seen this elsewhere. It will fill your hpa tank. It is an attachment for a shop compressor.

Kewl, I heard about this a while back. This is something that would be very very handy for someone like me who is a solid hour from any field.

oh, didn't realize the time involved. Thats just nuts for that kind of price.

I'll drive an hour, get air, and play.

not everyone has access to air, take me for example i live 270 km from a dive shop, now the cost of me spending 60 bux in gas to fill 2 80 cf scubas for 5 bux each is very counter productive and takes 7 hours out of my time..

let the shoebox run for 7-13 hours and it always tops from 1500 back to 3000 i dont drive anywhere and the cost of me using electricity is much less then the cost of doing 540 km round trip

i'm an hour(about 40 miles+) to fill either my scuba or another shop to fill my tanks. 4 PB tanks at $5 apiece, $6 for the scuba, plus gas and tolls.

people, the idea isn't a quick fix, its a cheaper alternative for those that don't have ready access, or do a lot of air work that can't afford the couple thousand for a field grade compressor.
