I've decided to replace the PMI regulator on my tank. I was considering the Ninja regulator. www.ansgear.com/Ninja_...-reg45.htm

Thoughts, on this reg?

Thanks,
Nick

Have you looked at ninja's site to see if they might do you a better deal? The guys I know with Ninjas like them.

Havn't checked, ANS has 'em for $33 which isn't too bad in the grand scheme of things. Plus if I order some grips, I could get them at the same time from ANS. I'll check though.

Replaced a crossfire reg with a ninja reg last year. Love it. I buy any more, it will be ninja.
Checked them out at ninja's site and copied this from cart with realtime freight charge using Nick's zip.

(1) Items in your shopping cart.

NINJA REGULATOR
Qty: 1 $33.95

Freight: $11.56
Subtotal: $45.51

At ANS USPS 1st class is $3.91 or USPS Priority box is $6.60. Reg is same price.

I've always used CF regs, and had to replace one with a Ninja. Couldn't tell the difference, so I suppose that's a good thing. Plus it's waaay more fun to say ninja than any other brand.

I bought one of the 48/3k setups for $35 shipped on ebay. After playing around with the shims and moving it to a 68/3k bottle for a year, I finally just bought a 45/4500 ninja bottle.

An interesting note (imo). I bought the 45/45 used, and it leaked badly out of the bonnet. I opened it up to find red bearing grease in it and some unhappy o-rings (very sticky and a little rough looking). I replaced the grease with superlube grease and it has been working great (same o-rings). It took me a couple of changes to get the output I wanted, but the reg responded as it should to the shims.

Replaced my Conquest reg with a ninja reg. Can't complain. Paid $45 or so for them to put it on and even got my old reg back. Just love them.

I DO love the color. The pictures don't do it justice. If you are not getting a chub looking at the pictures then you are not getting the full effect. This color is why Viagra pills are blue.
