y'all are gonna laugh at me but i have to say that the "Halo Too" is pretty hard to beat for the money. Never outshot the loader with anything i have owned Ego, PMR, B2Ks etc....

Would like to try a rotor one day but dang if they are'nt expensive.

And I always keep a VL Revy in my bag because it ALWAYS works...though I've never had a problem with the Halo Too....Comes in handy when I loan a marker to somebody with no gear etc.

Have a VL EyeForce in the bag... It works but what a clunky joke. \You must remove 37 screws to replace the batteries. I only keep it because it is worth more as a back up when desperation requires it and I wouldn't get anything for it if I sold it. But it does work.

Did you ever get the Puma to work for 400 rounds?

I've got a VLocity that I use on everything I own. I love the thing to death. I run it on setting 1 or 2 (the two lowest settings) and I have yet to outshoot it. What sucks for me though, is I bought one right after they came out, full price, and now ANS has them for $40, and you can add upgrades (like the dynasty kit) for a discount.

Yes, i have.

1st problem: Bad oring, replaced.
2nd problem: Leak in the internal cross section, looked at a schematic diagram, flipped one piece upside down, works great.

It fires absolutley fine. 400 was just how much paint i had that day, its gone through about 2000 rounds since ive had it.

anyone want to trade an italian pride reloader b meaning half the shell is green , half is white, and the battery door is red for a vLocity ? lol i hate how bulky the reloader b is.

by the way the reloader b has exalt speed gate and rip drive... works nice and i never outshot it, i just love the look of the vLocity.

Pinokio's are where its at. 30+ bps, batteries last forever, super light, and no one else at the field has one.

I had the OG Revvy back in the day and nothing else came close to that at the time. I took a hiatus for a while and when I came back the Vlocity had just came out. Picked up a Vlocity for list price back in '07. Got a boost battery kit and a Nox chip and the thing gives me zero problems(aside from the durability). Never had a jam in it and it feeds darn fast. Also, with the Nox chip it works great with reballs too.

Downsides:

1. Brittle plastic shells and raceway. I don't know what they were made out of (polyehylene resin or something) but those old revy shells were where it was at. The material they make the Vlocity shells out of now(polyacrylate?) will eventually crack with hard play and if you're unlucky your newb friend with grab your marker by the hopper and snap the raceway off in the feedneck. Sad

2. Have to remove every screw to clean out the inside of the hopper(8 I think). Boo.

3. Can be a drain on batteries if you don't have an aftermarket chip or Select Force chip.

My take on the Rotor:
I've never owned or shot a Rotor, but it would probably be the only hopper I'd buy at this point.
I was at an indoor place watching a game. A guy with a Rotor on his Ego ran up to a dorito. As he was running into it his cleat or something snagged the astrotuf and pulled it up at the same time. He slipped and both his feet came up and he landed on his gun hand. I heard a loud 'pop' as his Rotor smacked the concrete floor underneath the astroturf. Dude, got back up, started shooting and went about winning that game. Any other hopper (other than the Revvy) would have shattered into many pieces after that. I was sold right there on the spot.

Wow had 2 offers to buy hoppers. On a side note Nobody you bought the red halo from me right? That was my sons mine was the black one,if he had any issues with it he never mentioned it,sorry if its messed up.I did find out down at the field their used to be a replacement board for the halo was supposed to fix any issues, the previous owner never told that us he had them shipped free of charge and should have installed them.I'm going to meet with owner and see if any are left. Think I'm wait and see if the money tree in back yard sprouted any new cash before buying a high dollar one.

i never had any problems with it and wouldn't hold it against you if there where. as is, is "as is". put a V35 board, new backplate and a rip drive and then traded it with cash for a 06 Cyborg in parts. your(or your sons) was my 3rd, and it was more of a last resort/loaner to keep the speed demon Cheetah board and the OG stock boarded one that hasn't ever given me a problem.
