I kept double feeding, so i noticed the detent was stuck upen, probably from chopping, and gooing it up with paint. I took it apart, cleaned is, put a little Gold Cup on it, but it still sticks open alot. It's a stainless steel ball.

Tantrum has a Macdev teflon ball detent, but it says that its for pre-2003 bushies. I have a 2003 electronics, with 2002 xmilling (pic here) - how do I know which will fit? If the newer ones have o-ring detents then the macdev teflon should fit mine right??

I really need to get this fixed since I'm getting a force feed hopper soon...

the macdev one will work fine since you already have a ball detent on your gun

sounds like it just has a bunch of goo stuck in there, happen with my bko ones i just let it run under a foucet and it got all the goo out and was fine

You can try to clean them for a quick fix. But your better off getting a new one.

Woolfin - by taking it apart I meant unscrewing it from the gun and then cleaning it & lubing it.

I went ahead and got the macdev teflon ball. I works much better - be careful when screwing it in that you dont round off the allen hex hole...the aluminum seems thin & soft.
