Hey, can anyone tell me how to turn the eyes on and off on a Promaster NOX board. I just recently purchased one from a member on ICDO and I'm having trouble getting the eyes to work. The noid will click whether or not there is anything in the breech. I appreciate any help that I can get! Confused

Hrmm. Not sure on the board but is it possible that the eyes are the problem? Have you tested with a normal promaster board?

To turn OFF the eyes on a NOX, you just hold the trigger down, turn on the marker and keep holding it down for another 2 seconds.
Check your harness. Sounds like one of your eye wires could be compromised.

EDIT: Just thought about it. The previous user might have just disabled using the eyes in one of the registers. Download the NOX manual from the file download section and go through all the registers and change what you need to and write down everything else so you know what the board is set to in the future.

the registers are for the Kila boards, not the Nox. but the download section does have the Nox board programming, Nox Board.

The eyes should be on by default I think.

You should probably inspect the eye wires.

No, I put my original board back in my marker and the eyes work just fine. Also this marker has never really been used, its pratically brand new so all the wires are in perfect condition. The Nox board is however missing one of the pins on board. I was wondering if that could cause the eyes not to work. I will try everyones suggestions. Thanks for the help!!!

The nox board comes missing a pin.

As far as I know a lot of the pred & nox boards had a pin missing. I have a pred lite in my NDFS7 that has a pin missing and it does not affect nothing at all. as a matter of fact on the harness there are about 3 unused holes that do not do any thing except let the pins rest in.

I have never had a promaster. Is the harness set up the same as the freestyles?

I would think so. I never noticed on the PM that I sold for a friend.
