Thanks for posting up Damien. Glad to see another Freestyle convert. (It seems like we've gotten more than a few of those just recently around here)
Also good to see someone who knows how to powerslide too
Hey, as far as Freestyles go, here's my advice:
1. Mess with the gun as little as you can besides lubing the bolt section. (and always use oil to lube it, not grease)
2. Try not to take off the solenoid if you can help it. The manifold can get stripped out easily, rendering you a leaky pos.
3. Always use urethane durometer 90 007 or 006 orings for your valve stem o-ring.
4. All you really need are a board with dwell changing ability, (which it sounds like you have) a clamping feedneck, a barrel kit and a good HPR. Other than that, it's all butter. Oh, and I forgot, you're going to need a Furious Harness for it too......
If you're coming from doing anything with cockers, than working on a Freestyle should be a walk in the park.
The major drawback for FS's are their efficiency, or should I say lack of. You'll probably be stretched to pull 900 shots out of a 68/4500 filled to 45k. For most of us rec ballers who shoot the FS's, the efficiency isn't a big deal, but if you're bored go ahead and check out forumreader's thread about how he improved his FS's efficiency
And if you haven't seen it yet, maloneoni made a wonderful sticky here
