What do i do with my 05 Ego Frame and Noid?

Should I rebuild the ego, needs QEVs
OR
use the noid in my Bushmaster AND use the Frame for either the Bushmaster or an MQ Cocker?
OR
or use BOTH the noid and frame for an MQ Cocker?

that's tough. i would lean more towards the Bushmaster with it, but that's me. Ego's are getting cheaper everyday, especially if its an 05/06. MQs, well they are either love or hate.

well i already own the MQ and it works perfectly lol
i just dont like the T2 frame and wanna use the ego frame or maybe the Mac Dev Bushmaster frame will fit?

Just rebuild the Ego and replace the QEVs. An 05 Ego will still be a better shooter than a Bushy IMHO.

my ego 5 is butter smooth. I'd rebuild the Ego. Sure the ego is more of a jack hammer than a FS or a dye spoolie but it is way more smooth than any Bushmaster I have owned even smoother than my GBR'd Bushmaster. don't know how you can say they are jackhammers. but i realize that's just your opinion. if you hate the Ego that much send it to me, I'll fix it and rock it.

+1 to Crash's comments. My 06 Ego has been a much more reliable and smoother platform than any Bushmaster i've owned (have owned 3). They also more consistent out of the box than any Bushmaster.
For a smoother shooting marker, my 05 Proto beats out my 05 NDFS or FS8.

Plus, you did include rebuilding the Ego as an option Smile

Yes I did include it, and if I could find some of those qevs I'd be rocking!

But the reason my Bushmaster is ultra smooth and awesome is I worked on it so much, most open bolt poppets aren't even close to my gun

i'd also add that i have yet to see any other marker frame (ego,cyborg,angel, etc etc) on a Bushmaster look worth flip. They all look bastardized to me. also the whole trayless thing to me is WAY over rated. The T2 feels ok, although I am not a fan of the trigger angle. My fav is the eaton ripper followed by the Zeni and then the 2K4 frame. Only 3 frames I would accept on a Bushmaster. Heck I only shoot a Bushmaster for nostalgia, the Ego is just too reliable and comfortable...ALL STOCK TOO! The 07 PMR is my backup.

I was cleaning my trayed Bushmaster and my Ego 5 yesterday. everybody wants to get rid of the tray, but i see no advantage especially given the cost of trayless kits. If there is a true advantage to trayless somebody tell me cuz i can't figure it out...seems purely cosmetic to me... an upgrade in aesthetics only to make the marker "look more modern"
