Hey Guys,
Sorry if this has been asked before (seems like a common issue) but couldnt find a solution when looking through other posts. Just bought a FS05 took it apart and cleaned/relubed it (as well as the LPR/HPR) and when I start trying to adjust the HPR air just starts flowing straight throught the gun and out the barrel.

I tried the HPR on my Bushy and it works great so wondering if this is an issue with the LPR or something else im missing? I checked the LPR, replaced the o-ring and relubed so not sure what seal is broken.

Happy 4th

Mike

it seems to be the valve stem oring. replace it and it should stop leaking.

Make sure you're properly balancing the regs.

Stuff a barrel swab or something down the breech before you even gas the marker up. Then go through the reg balancing process.

If the marker leaks with the bolt being blocked by a swab, then you should follow Nobody's advice.

I like to use a piece of macro line, so that I can see the bolt.

Thanks for the suggestions. So somewhat good news I replaced the valve stem o-ring and when I gas up the marker with my squeegee holding back the bolt no leaks exist.

However, as I start adjusting the LPR a leak starts down the barrel and the bolt never cocks back. I was thinking this had to do with the LPR so stripped it and replaced the oring on the regulator cup but that didnt help. Any ideas? I can take a video if you think that'd help.

Hope everyone is enjoying their 4th.

Try the first 020 on the outside of the bolt assembly (closest to the bolt tip), the 017 on the bolt piston and the 017 on the inside of the cylinder.

so i thought i found the culprits. The first was 017 on the inside of the cylinder...and the 2nd was the 010 on the stem.....it may have taken an hour but finally got that sucker on (seems like the stem is in there good so couldn't get it out).

-- update -- Also replaced the 2 - 20's on the front of the bolt (and have already replaced both 017's...) so I've pretty much replaced them all in the bolt assembly....I'm stumped.

Still leaks down the barrel unfortunately...but if I block the bolt it keeps the seal and actually holds pressure a pressure in the HPR til it cocks forward. If i push the bolt back weakly it does a puttering sounds. Any ideas? Is this an LPR problem perhaps?

Service the LPR and see what happens. Check the freestyle stickies for a how to so that you get it assembled correctly.

So more and more I think I just got myself into trouble getting into this FS05.

I took it to a proshop and worked with the guy to figure the sucker out but to no result. Hoping you guys would have some thoughts on what could be the problem:

1. Replaced all the orings on the cylinder assembly. Net result is when the assembly is off the marker we verified there are no leaks.

2. Verified the LPR is not leaking and configured properly.

3. Verified the HPR works properly on another marker.

The issue: When airing up the gun to as little as 5 psi, the air flows straight through the marker and out the bolt/barrel. I'm not sure what this means but he was puzzled too....is this perhaps have to do with the solenoid being configured wrong? Or is there a chance it's shot?

Hoping I can finally figure this puzzle out.

Mike

Check that the valve stem is not scratched. It is the delrin piece that the 006 oring slides through. You might need to replace that pieces.
