Ok guys I finally got a tank! My bushy 2k has been in its box for almost 10 years. Aired it up. No leaks! But battery was dead....took off grip frame and tray to change battery. Put gun back together air it up and it leaks. Pull the tray back off while aired up it stops leaking...so if you apply any pressure to the Noid front end it leaks.... Thought about maybe putting a thin washer between the main body and Noid to keep pressure off it. Gun cycles fine though... Any help guys? Thanks!

when you say the front of the noid, is it the end where the wires are, or opposite that?

which noid do you have, black and silver Parker/Skinner or tan and white Humprey?

with that, could have a stuck noid piston which any positional or pressure change is not allowing the noid to cycle. by putting in a washer, i think you'll exacerbate it worse. i'm thinking that the wires from harness are pushing against it, causing the leak. so make sure that you tighten down the screws on the noid. just finger tight, you don't want or need to torque them down.

that's the Parker/Skinner. Could be a few things depending on where the leak is. If it's between the mani and the body, bet on one of those orings deteriorated over the decade she sat in the dark. Alone. unloved. Either that or one of the mani bolts has backed out a little. if it's between the noid and mani, either the gasket is degrading, the noid screws are loose, the mani is slighty stripped, or you have a bad oring on your pilot. If it is coming from the body of the noid, then the screws that hold the noid together could be loose or you have body orings going. If I had to guess, gun to my head, I'm going with the gasket 9 out of 10.

Ok getting a bit over my head. Mani bolts? How do I find where the leak is exactly? Don't think soapy water is a goo idea with electronics. How hard is this gasket to get? Or replace?

Where is the pilot? Lol sorry for al the questions. How hard is it to take the Noid apart to fix it? Also I noticed that on the silver part where the 4 screws hold it on when it was originally drilled/installed they drilled one of the screw holes too close to the edge and the screw is halfway exposed

mani = manifold, the part which attaches the noid to the body.
pilot = this is the piston which actuates the air flow. its like a 4 way in a cocker, but instead of using a rod that you move manually, its electronically moved.

taking apart a noid is not hard, BUT it helps to take you time and have a nice place to take it apart so you won't loose any bits. i think there is a breakdown of a BKO noid, which is just about the same thing.

can you get pics of this noid? it helps to see what you are describing.

you can also use some oil(KC Troublefree, or some light airtool oil). put it in the vert(if you have it, or behind the LPR. you want to cycle the gun a bit(20+ shots), but that may be enough to lube it without taking it apart.
