So I landed another wind turbine job that is going to relocate me to Saginaw for the next 2 months.

I was wondering if any of you are near by and may recommend any fields? I'm not sure I will bring any equipment with me, so decent rental gear is a plus.

Congrats on your new job!

Although I'm from the Midwest, I've never played in MI. I know Hell Survivors is a well known field though. Might want to check it out.

thank you eeyore.

bandit seems to be closest to me and there are a few around that. I didn't know if anyone had lived/played around here.

I got into town last night. where I'm at isn't the greatest but I'm 20min. away from just about everything to do in the area. I just missed Oktoberfest in a neighboring German tourist town, but there are some sweet breweries, distilleries and wineries around here. that should keep my occupied for a little while.

All you need to know about Michigan beer is summed up in two words:

Bell's

Try a Two Hearted Ale or anything else Bell's makes.

I've tried them and they are fantastic. after being here a few days I've found a few local breweries that are only found around here. if anyone is ever this way frankenmuth is a great tourist attraction based on German heritage and they have a couple of great brewery only recipes. and the town it's self is really cool.( meat markets, distilleries and all sorts of German themed fun)

so far my stay has been hectic. the hotel I was supposed to be staying in went bankrupt and wasn't going to tell us until it was too late and aquired our possessions for their own. we found that out this morning. we found another place tonight that is alright( I'm trying to keep some kind of budget).

we'll see how things go from here. I will hit bandit at some point and give a review.

So they went belly up and locked you out of your room and away from your stuff? Did I read that right?
