just picked up a Halo B TE and the thing still chops after about 4 balls even when the rof is down to 14bps

could this be a problem related to blowback or is it something else?
specs are below:

Gen 3 Bushmaster
Stock internals
Palmer Stabilizer
MacDev Sonic LPR
Chaos chip
Angel space frame w. custom trigger
PBK clamping lorise
Halo B TE

Blowback shouldn't matter with a force feed system like the halo.

i didn't think it was, but just wanted to cover all of my bases....

any help would be appreciated cause i have 2 Bushmaster's that have this problem...
one i can consistantly dry fire up to 16bps and the other to ~13bps. both of them have Halo B [TE] and both of them have Chaos chips. its really annoying to have something that can't live up to its potential because it chops faster than a sushi chef on speed....

Only thing I can think of is double feeding. Make sure to do the macroline or the washer detent mod.

Washer detent mod means going out and getting a tiny little rubber washer to replace your O-ring.

If that still doesn't work try to find another rubber washer to put on your ram/hammer assembly so that your bolt sits SLIGHTLY up forward.

This should completely elminate double feeding.

You could get a Cocker Detent from Tantrum, and screw it in tight.... If your using your original detent its probably worn out by now.

First off are you chopping (bolt jams forward) or barrel bursting (gat fires foam)?

If your chopping then it means that your paint is getting caught in the breach and being chopped by the bolt..... solution - Blind Blot/PDS/or PLEE or Shootpaints low pressure ram mod (there are a few other things you can do to lower your ram pressure - replace your valve spring with a softer cocker spring, or increase the dwell on your chaos board this will let your drop the LPR pressure a bit)

If your barrel bursting its either, double feeding (get a new detent), blow back (get a vapor bolt), band paint to barrel match (new barrel time) or your regs need a good clean (too much spiky are is making the paint break).

You can narrow the bursting down by taking off your barrel and firing a few shots, if your Halo keeps feeding through the problem will be your detent. Blow back is easy enough to test for (but prolly not the problem as your using a force feed hopper). That narrow the problem down to regs or barrel. Again both are easy to test for.

its definitely chopping.....bolt gets stuck forward an average of every 8 shots on anything faster than 10bps

-i'm currently using MacDev detentes on both

-using the next spring up from the yellow spring in the standard cocker spring kit

-dwell is set at 10ms
