get eigther a proto or the profiler, i have tried countless masks and those are the two that are most comfortable. Along with comfort, they fit your galsses really well, no need to worry if you chose eigther.
they both take like 30 secs to switch lenses. They both have like the same stiffness, they both get a lot of bounces. But the one thing i noticed out of the two lenses is that the profiler seems like you have better vsion with it, a better few of the field. The proto is good but the "vision" doesnt seem the same to me, maybe its the shape of the lense that has that effect...

How do you take the lenses out on the profiler?

|
Hey Epoch,
For $19, you can install a fan, switch, and battery in your V Force. I have a Sheild and the fan sits on the top center (cut the flexible top to fit around the fan) blowing gently down into the mask nose piece. The air swirls and goes out the top sides. Use a 40 x 40 x 10 mm 12v computer fan from Radio Shack along with one of their SPST micro toggle switches mounted behind the top flexible part on the top right side of the mask. I don't use the visor but the setup should work with it also. Mount the 9v battery on the lower right side near your jaw with a zip tie through the mask grill. With the 9v, you just barely hear the fan. The only downside to it is the fan sits over the back edge of the mask and will touch the top of your forehead. I always wear a rag, so the touching is not a problem. I don't even know it's there and the air sure is nice! I can take some pictures if you need them.

not trying to sound mean or *** or anything, but I think protos are real ugly. Its just my opinion though. The profilers are what I consider the perfection of masks. Great field of view, antifog, easy lens change, soft frame for more bounces, small profile for getting up real tight and close (bad if u have a cocker though cuz the *** backblock). Go with what you want, but profilers are the $|-|!+!!! They may be more expensive than protos and stuff, but well worth the money.

Proflex or profiler. My team mate has a profiler and the lenses are amazing. I bought an '04 proflex when I found them on sale for $50 Canadian. Lenses are still very nice, but the profilers wins in that regard mostly due to the wide peripheral vision. However, I think the proflex is more comfortable and more likely to give bounces, as well as being cheaper.
