Ok. Ive tried lots of stuff and i cant figure it out. Trust me its not the regs not being set properly or anything like that. The whole gun has been lubed checked etc. and everything seems fine and it shoots fine I just cant get it over 260 fps. And a problem like this is hard to determine because it has to be something small.

I had a thread already but it died probably because ppl were stumped.
here it is www.pbnation.com/showt...ooting+260

Im thinking it might be the solenoid because it may have got messed up somehow with that problem in the thread i just gave a link to. I cant narrow it down to anything else. Anything else it could be?

a) It's not your wiring. Period.

b) What board are you using? If you're using a board that permits adjustable dwell, up it slightly and see if that helps.

c) open the marker up, and get a spray bottle of soapy water.. lightly spray some on the 'noid to see if you can spot any bubbling. Don't soak it, just spray lightly enough to put a light coat on it.

d) If you have a newer style ram, gut it, clean it, relube it. A sticky ram will do precisely what you're describing, minus the issues with the air leak.

e) Self PDS install.. tsktsk. You oughta know better than that. Yes, you can partially fry a board. It's not common but it *IS* possible.

Thanks ill try all those things.

And the air leak was fixed by me cutting a piece of solder out of the board (should have been in that thread somewhere) so mabye it is just a sticky ram. However my bolt slides very smoothly so thats why I never thought it was that, and i havnt played with it that much.

Could it mabye be that my saftey valve in the solenoid is leaking before it gets to the pressure that it should. Because It might have gotten messed up in that air leak problem with the board or something else. And my dad says that that could have happened(he knows noids pretty well). He says that if theres a spring controlling that valve we could stretch it out or something. And i dunno it just seems that how the regs are tuning that it is doing that, could just be me tho. Ill try the ram first

My dwell cannot be adjusted.

Ill let u know what happens, might be few days tho.

I haven't read the other thread (lazy) but have you checked to make sure the valve isn't rotated a little bit? My two cents.

DO NOT change the spring in the LPR.

DO NOT offer TheArtist any more substances for personal recreation, he's had far too many already, to make a suggestion like that!

Darryl my man, I have seen several new Bushmaster's and BKO's that had to weak of spring, or the wrong spring. If the spring is not strong enough. it can cause this problem. This happened to me while I was at ICD training with Vic.

Wrong spring? Odd, but I can see it happening (Timmies are infamous for that).

But.. a weak spring? That's nuts. I would *NOT* recommend swapping out the spring at all. *shrug* I'm just some guy ( look under my smiley! ) but hey.. Greg floats around here, maybe he'll see it and contribute. I wouldn't put a harder spring into an LPR. HPR, maybe, but LPR's already at a low enough pressure that a harder spring might prohibit expected function...

Out of curiosity, what'd you do with the issue you encountered at training at ICD, anyway?

And.. I'll take those recreational substances, if they're alcoholic. I'm turning back into party boy now that I'm single again. Very Happy

As you know, when they send there guns in for repair, ICD replaces o-rings, poppets, springs, and seals, on the whole gun. When I fixed a gun, I put the old parts in a pile by themselves, so Vic could see what I replaced. The gun leaked out the noid and not make crono. The first thing Vic did was take the LPR apart. The spring was the same size, but alittle different color, wrong spring. Vic's comment, ( I wonder how that got in that box). I've had guns in my shop where the LPR would be almost screwed tight and not leak, and not make crono. I would change the spring with a (NEW FACTORY SPRING), and its like new. As you mentioned, I would not just use any spring, get the kit from ICD Underground, or from the factory. Greg was always serious about his job, he taugh me alot and gave me the courage to buy the Freestyle and I'm loving it. I recomend his site (Blue Fork Design) as much as possible. Also as I posted before, the Hawk mod for the Freestyle is awesome.
