HOLY CRAP THAT SCARED THE S*** OUT OF ME!

So i'm messing with my max-flo tank that has been leaking and seen the post about them leaking above 200psi. So i decide to turn mine down... or so i thought! I turn the reg in all the way exspecting this to be down all the way(which it may be.. i don't know much about regulated tanks) I shoved in a small peice or micro line and turn on the tank. I hear a little PSS and it filling with air and the next thing i know BOW! My micro-line blew up! I have had 1200psi running through this thing before when i used a tippmann with c02. I don't know what happened but i was in my concrete basement and it was so fricken loud! No only that but i hands hurt like a b***** because they were on the micro when it blew! I'm scared to turn that tank back on and the thing it after the microline blew.. there was hardly any air leaking out (almost like when you turn your lpr up too much! And the tank still had 4000 psi! WOW! I'm still shakeing from that!

P.S. Anyone know which way is down on a Max-flow??

The gun is good.. I don't think it got much pressure.. it exploded pretty quick! I thought it was the tank which would have been really bad! I'll try to get a picture of it when i get ahold of my gf's digital camera! Was going to do it tonight but other things came up. My hand is free of bruises and is feeling alright as of now! I also lost the little metal popit in the 90* thing and i think that might me as well but i can't find it for the life of me! It must have blown somewhere fast! haha! Just wish i knew how to work this damn tank! I've had it for about 8 months now and never used it.. comtinue to use my PE. Wish onesome would help me out with that! haha

glad your hand feels alright, atleast it wasn't the tank exploding.

I had an old style Max flow do the same, helluva bang. Make sure that the main piston is well lubed, if it isnt it can stick and make your output pressure creep up.

Oh this wasn't a creep... This was quick and there was barely any air flowing.. it was right when i hooked it up

Yea.. ears rang for a LONG time after that and luckly i was standing but i did manage to do a duck and cover manuevre!
