Hey, I'm new here. I'm trying to scrounge a new board for my Tribal, which runs same as my Promaster, and so I've been recommended by The Guild to check here for a BKO, Bushmaster, or Promaster board.

I don't need a microswitch, but all the rest.

I wanna keep it cheap, so stock boards are fine by me. Thanks.

I've got a tribal board still, from my BBT 2.2, but I just want something... cleaner. A one-piece board, so there aren't wires to pinch etc.

How would the Bushmaster board fit? And how much?

you are going to have a hard time getting a Bushmaster board into a tribal...the only place it would fit is in the grip frame where the battery goes.

You might be better off with a Chaos 2K4 board because they are as small as they are.

the board dimensions are:

1 1/8" X 2 1/2" X 1/2"

That isn't going to fit in the tray area of the grip frame-

I have a Bushmaster 9300 board if you want it. $10 shipped?
The extra material at the bottom that is unused has been cut off.

Are you on the Tirbal Owner's Group? I visit there regularily. I am unsure of the dimensions of the backplate board on the tribal, but it may work out that a cut 9300 board (excess material trimmed off) may fit into that backplate area.

I also suggest a Chaos board though. You'd need a 2k6 or 2k7 chaos board for a Bushmaster as the Tribal has a microswitch attached to harness. DO NOT get the ProMaster or FreeStyle variant.

A cut 9300 board can be as small as 1" x 1" and have the wiring harness header sticks out the top an extra 0.2".

My 2k7 Chaos board is 0.55" x 1.5" and the leads stick out 0.11" out of the top of the board. One thing to note, the Chaos 2k7 board is a little bit tall with the jumper and programming header. Allow yourself about 0.25" height.

Thanks for the advice; I'm in college and really broke. So if I can cram a Bushy board in there for 10 bucks, I'm gonna try. I've got no problem dealing with a sloppy or tight fit, so long as it fits. Any deals on old Chaos boards? Right now 10 bucks for a Bushmaster board looks good to me. I might even be able to go for a custom trigger and a Promaster board... I want to replace my trigger anyways.

Specs and size on the "9300"? With the material cut off?

And yeah, I'm on TOG, same name.

Thanks for being so helpful.

Don't pay more than $15 for a working 9300 board.

Pretty much the specs for a cut board are this:

A cut 9300 board can be as small as 1" x 1" and have the wiring harness header sticks out the top an extra 0.2".

Do not go with the ProMaster board unless you plan on doing a custom trigger and milling your gripframe.

Edwin or Andy should be able to help you with any wiring issues that might arise. They are very knowledgeable guys.

yeah, I heard 10 was a fair price. If only the harness block is .5 thick, I can sneak the board in vertically right at the top of the frame, with the 9v under it, and just get creative with my wiring. it's barely .5" between the two halves of the top of the frame, and an easy inch across.

So who's got a good deal on a cut 9300, and will take paypal?

Oh, and anything I need to do other than solder in my microswitch leads, battery leads, and switch leads? Oh, and is there an LED output when it's powered up, or do I just need to find a live line to shunt across?
