i wasnt talking about the kind of solenoid that you find in a bushy or something, like one of those bigger ones you find in spyder e grip frames.

yea thats the basic principle of the belt driven loader except it would just be surrounded by those things to even the pressure on the ball.

The only problem would be if there was a slight difference in the speed of the top belt and bottom belt it would put a spin on the ball, maybe even significant enough to make it throw a curve ball Confused

Could be cool to be able to adjust the timing of the belts to allow backspin for those who desire it.

This sounds like one of those "trying to invent the better mouse trap" concepts.

Well with Smart Parts making every body pay royalties for the use of a solenoid in a marker, you are going to have to reinvent the "mouse trap" to put it in your words. And I think there is nothing wrong with that IMO.

I think it sounds okay in theory, but is probably impractical in application. You'd have to carry a car battery around to have enough juice to run the thing and shoot a comparable amount of paint like today's markers. Electric motors running continuously eat up all sorts of power super quick. Also, by the time you added all those gizmos, the thing would weigh over 10 pounds! What would be the point then?

As for Smart Parts, their parade will get shut down sooner or later. Crooks always get what they deserve in the end...
