ah so this is the one he mentioned in the other thread when the guy was trolling him. Great pickup either way, glad someone from here got it too.

Also from what I read in his thread is was the anno that f'd up the tolerances on the valken body, you may be able to get it working with larger orings and/or dow55(although they already use that on all timmies). It may be worth more than a paperweight if you had the time and were inclined to mess with it for X amount of time.

I have 100+ orings of each size. I'm sure if i had enough time I could make it work. I don't even want to think about how many hours it would take for that to happen, though. I'll try for a little while, though.

Interestingly enough, I tore apart mine tonight to clean them, and all the internal seals were lubed heavily with dow33.

yah, i have heard many times that dow33 works fine, but since they use 55 at the factory thats what they recommend...are there stats out there for how much 55 actually swells the orings?

And Im the same way, if I had a situation like that I would also try, but only for a couple hours...I have had fit orings before(my fsp) and its not a fun process.

Missed my BL Coser that I sold last year, so picked up a marq rapper after missing out on Martix_agent's marq while waiting for my ego8 to sell. Love it!

I finally saw this on MCB today. Rather, I took the time to look at it finally. Bob Long does cool stuff for sure. Figures MCB guys bitching about it though. "Something that does not match my concept of cool! Burn the witch!"
