over a year ago I was looking for a new marker because my spyder wasn't making me happy.

I started looking at cockers and dm's but the dm's were a bit high for my pricerange and i don't knwo anyone who knows how to maintain cockers.(though i came close to a dm4 deal of a lifetime, then the seller backed out)

I started looking for something in my pricer ange and found a bushy for $190. back then it was a good price, but now I'm kicking myself for not waiting another half a year.

the main reason i went with icd is because i like to tinker with stuff, and i knew i would be able to do that with a bushy. So far it's worked out great for me (expect a valve seal leak..i'm too lazy to cal icd) and I'm excited to see greg working some new icd products around a bit.

Well, some college friends were playing and it looked fun and I had been invited to play but we were just plaing on a back section of campus. I started reading about a marker or two and just decided to invest in an ICD Thundercat ES. Very first maker I ever own and the very first marker I ever shot. Still have my T-Cat along with a Bushmaster pump and a BKO, and I have had a Bushmaster, MI BKO, another T-Cat, and a Freestyle. About the only type of ICD marker I haven't had was a Desert Fox (still looking for a cheap one). I've had other markers, Tippmanns, SP markers, and many others, but nothing like good ole ICD

I bought a Model 98 with jt mask/20oz for $200 new in 2000. I had played twice before at the local field with the pro carbines. I ended up selling the gun for a brick of firecrackers and $20 after breaking my third powertube and stripping out a valve. I never ended up buying another gun, I almost bought a spyder amg when they came out though. That's how I got started in paintball; now how I got started with ICD. I had seen the bushy lcd in magazines for $699 and always wanted one, knowing I would never have that much to spend on a gun. So one night while I was bored looking through old stuff I found an old paintball magazine. I googled "paintball bushmaster lcd" and came upon an e-bay auction for a blue x-mill, 68/3000 tank, revvy and apache, jersey, pants, gloves, and a few other things, I ended up bidding and winning the auction and paid about $225 after shipping for a fairly nice setup. I read the manual at least 6 times online while waiting for the package to arrive. As soon as it did I aired it up and it leaked. So being me I took it all apart, cleaned it, and put it back together and it worked, must have had the lpr up too high. Since then I've bought 3 other b2k2s and many parts/upgrades. Both of my little brothers own a Bushmaster now and I'm trying to get a few friends to buy setups. I'm glad I was able to get back into paintball finally.

Hmmm, me and Paintball...

Well in '94 through a friend I was asked to go out and play some paintball so that a local photographer for the major newspaper in town could take some action shots for his story. Well after that I was hooked. I got a Tippman Prolight and played religiously during high school. Then I went off to college and completely forgot about it. Got back home (2001) got married and a guy that my wife worked with got me to start playing again. I got a 98 Custom and turned my old prolight into a mock M-16 (really pimp too). Then I started upping and buying and trading (found ebay for the first time). Traded the 98 C for a Spyder Flash traded the spyder flash for a Crossfire Autococker, then traded the Autococker for an Eclipse Bushy. Then I was hooked. I can't tell you how many bushies (not to mention all the angels, tippies, spyders, and mags) have passed through my hands since I got that Eclipse, but it's been alot and I have to say that I'll always have a primary bushy (and probably a back up too).

How I got started with ICD:

I had just recently bought a Tippmann 98 and was really more interested in an electronic gun. I had the chance to buy a package deal with a brand new Promaster included. I was so happy when I recieved it and took it out to my local field. Unfortunately there was only one other person playing that day and they wanted to go 1 vs. 1 in the speedball course. This kid had a brand new Angel and was so proud of it. He sneered at my gun because it wasn't as expensive as his. We got out on the field and I just started laying paint. I noticed that the other guy was barely shooting and I wondered what was going on. I closed in on him and bunkered him pretty badly. Well come to find out he had a problem with his trigger because of the brightness of the sun (it used light to trigger it apparently). He was pissed his gun wouldn't shoot a steady stream of paint and I continued to beat him all day long. I guess my "cheap" little gun was worth purchasing anyway.
